Description/Comment:Watson Explorer / Watson Content Analytics Developer

Responsibilities:

-Able to design, develop, and customize data extraction, ingestion, and annotation using Watson Explorer / Watson Content Analytics

-Develop WEX crawlers to ingest data

-Develop WEX annotators to extract custom concepts

-Expertise in setting up converters and writing custom converters

-Demonstrate WEX capabilities and value to LOB’s

Required skills and qualifications:

-At least 2 years of experience implementing Enterprise Search and Content Analytics, text-mining solutions

-Experience in developing solutions with IBM Watson solutions such as Watson Explorer, Watson Content Analytics

-Experience in exposing WEX Rest API for querying specific sections of text

-Expertise in installing and configuring document-training components for WEX (e.g. CAS for rules annotation, WKS for NLP model annotation)

-Expertise in understanding various document types (XML, PDF, etc.) and formatting them for use with the WEX training components

Nice to have:

-Knowledge in setting up and operationalizing a highly available and horizontally scalable multi -tenant environment.

-Knowledge in setting up/configuring system monitoring, logging, audit logging pertaining to ALL WEX components

-Basic understanding of quantitative techniques in predictive and prescriptive analytics

-Data science experience a plus
